Praying Pause – Breathing out God’s Love/Divine Healing

We are all on a spiritual journey and experience God/The Divine in different ways. Please use your own way and your own words if you have a different access to praying for someone/sending love and light and healing to someone.

Connecting this way, since we cannot visit or be in physical contact during this challenging time, is a beautiful gift to all of us. Please pray/send love because we know it works as quantum physics now scientifically proves.

∼ Be aware of your breathing and take a moment to calm your mind…

~Breathe gently, knowing that a power bigger than yourself is breathing through you…

∼ As you continue to breathe gently, “see” the person you want to pray for…

∼ As you breathe in, inwardly say the name of God/Love/Divine Presence…

∼ As you breathe out, inwardly or out loud, say the name of the person you pray for/send love and healing to…

∼ Continue this prayer in the rhythm of your breathing until you feel a sense of peace…

~Let this prayer, and the knowledge that God/Divine Love is holding your loved one, also be a comfort to you…

~If you can visualize God’s Healing Light/ Divine Love flow into your crown chakra (the top of your head) and out of your solar plexus (right where your ribs meet) to your loved one, it will connect you and your loved one energetically and spiritually…

I am praying and sending LOVE to all of you 🙏🏻❤️🙏🏻

Praying Pause – Joy

Good morning and a peaceful day to you dear friends 🙏🏻💕🙏🏻!

“God grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change,
Courage to change the things I can,
and the wisdom to know the difference.
Living one day at a time;
Enjoying one moment at a time…”
—Reinhold Niebuhr.

~Breathe deeply and come into the present moment of your breath…

~Continue to breathe slowly and deeply…

~Enjoying one moment at a time, ask yourself, what will bring you joy today…?

~How can you share joy with a loved one today… ?

We cannot change the situation we are all in right now but we can share love and joy!🙏🏻❤️🙏🏻

Praying Pause – “Be still and know that I am God”

One of my favorite lines of the Psalms is “Be still and know that I am God”. (Psalm46:10)
It has brought me PEACE in times of inner and outer turmoil.

You can pray this prayer as a prayer of the heart, which means repeat it continuously in your mind or as a breath prayer, shortening the verse in the rhythm of your breathing.

∼ “Be still (breathe in) and know (breathe out) that I am (in) God (out)”…

∼ “Be still (in) and know (out) that I (in) am (out)”…

∼ “Be still (in) and know (out)”…

∼ “Be (in) still (out)”…

∼ “Be”…

If you have a favorite verse or spiritual saying, try to practice it this way.

I so appreciate all your comments and encouragement to post the prayers and meditations. 🙏🏻 Thank you!

What is one of your favorite verses/ sayings/ spiritual comfort?

Praying Pause – Bodyawareness

One way to quiet our minds is to become aware of our bodies. When we focus our minds on our bodies, our minds automatically calm and quiet because our bodies are always in the peaceful present moment where “I AM” resides.

Rest in this moment and allow your body to relax…

Soften your face by relaxing your jaw…

Relax your shoulders…

Breathe deeply into your stomach…

How are you feeling now?

The body is a sacred threshold; and it deserves to be respected, minded and understood in it’s spiritual nature.—John O’Donohue

Praying Pause – Staying in the Present Moment

∼ Breathe gently and simply observe your breathing… No need to control your breath or life…

∼ When your mind strays, listen to what you hear… Simply listen without attaching a meaning to the sound…

∼ When your mind wanders again, guide your awareness to your surroundings… Simply see…

∼ Alternate between observing your breathing, listening, and being aware of your surroundings when your thoughts take you away from the present moment… Meditate this way until you are present and calm…

We are not in control of life but we are in control of where we put our awareness. When we stay in the present moment, there is no fear. Fear only exists when our thoughts go into the future. Breathe gently into the present moment and the Presence of God. What will bring you joy today?

It was joyous for me to walk and see people out getting fresh air and exercising safely!🙏🏻💕🙏🏻

Praying Pause “Dark Night of the Soul”

“Darkness deserves gratitude. It is the alleluia point at which we learn to understand that all growth does not take place in the sunlight.”
—Joan Chittister

Rest in a gentle breath and remember a time when you went through a difficult time in your life before… What is your “dark night of the soul” experience?
How did you grow from it? How did you get through it? What was helpful ?

Take some time and meditate on this truth… Be gentle with yourself… You will be strengthened by this meditation, remembering you have done hard things before in life and you came out a stronger person…

What will you be grateful for about this challenging time? I would love it if you shared it in the comments🙏🏻

We can only see the stars ⭐️ in the dark. I pray that you will see all the beautiful stars in your life during this time of darkness. Stay in the light of the stars ⭐️❤️

Praying Pause – “Be still”

Be still and know that I am God.—Psalm 46:10

∼ Be aware of your breath and breathe gently…

∼ As you breathe in, pray “Be”…

∼ As you breathe out, pray “still”…

∼ Feel stillness increase with every breath and pray “Be still” until you feel Peace and Presence…

∼ If you are in a quiet space, sit with your eyes lowered or closed and become aware of your body. How did it feel before you prayed and how does it feel now?

My sense of peace always increases when I pray this breath prayer. We don’t have control over life but we do have control over our thoughts. If you replace anxious thoughts with “be still”, knowing that God is in control and trusting this Higher Power, you will feel much more peaceful and bring peace into your life and into this world.

Have a peaceful day dear friends and be still and know…🙏🏻💕

Praying Pause – Breathing the Lord’s Prayer

I wish you all a peaceful Sunday. 🙏🏻

Many of you have prayed the Lord’s Prayer as kids and into adulthood every day or every Sunday and it is deeply engrained in your soul and psyche. Even if you don’t pray the Lord’s Prayer anymore, it is part of you and might be meaningful at this time to rediscover this beautiful prayer.

My mother taught me the Lord’s Prayer line by line when I was three years old. When I could pray two lines she added a third and so on.

Let’s pray the Lord’s Prayer in a new and slow way today, connecting with Jesus‘ message in a new way.

Take a moment and breathe deeply, connecting with your breathing and spirit in your breath…

∼ Breathing in, pray:
Our Father in heaven

∼ Breathing out, pray:
hallowed be your name

∼ Breathing in, pray:
your kingdom come

∼ Breathing out, pray:
your will be done

∼ Breathing in, pray:
on earth

∼ Breathing out, pray:
as it is in heaven.

∼ Breathing in, pray:
Give us today

∼ Breathing out, pray:
our daily bread.

∼ Breathing in, pray:
And forgive us our debts,

∼ Breathing out, pray:
as we also have forgiven our debtors.

∼ Breathing in, pray:
And lead us not into temptation

∼ Breathing out, pray:
but deliver us from evil.

Love and Peace my friends ❤️🙏🏻
